Getting started with SyncedCue
One laptop runs Studio. Every other screen — phone, tablet, TV — joins by scanning a code. No apps, no accounts for them.
Step by step
Open Studio
On the laptop you’ll run the show from, go to syncedcue.com/studio and sign in with your name and passcode.
Pick what you’re running
Events and AV, Church service, Band or worship team, or Film or video shoot. Studio then shows only the tools for that job. Change it later from the menu with Change what Studio shows.
Add your script
Paste it in the Script tab, or use Import for Word, Fountain, Final Draft or text.
Add a device
In Devices, press Add a device, choose what that screen shows (Prompter, Monitor, Remote…), and scan the big code with it.
Run it
Press Play in the bar at the bottom. Every prompter scrolls together; the monitor shows the countdown and cues.
Tips
- Using a second window on the same laptop as a screen? Choose Open it here instead in Add a device.
- Put everything on a phone hotspot if the venue Wi-Fi is locked down.
Questions
Do the other screens need an account?
No. Only the person running Studio signs in.
Where is my show stored?
On the Studio laptop. Script, cues and timer travel directly between your devices, encrypted end to end.
