Questions

Do I need a talent release?

If a person can be recognised in a video you publish or use commercially, a signed release is the usual way to show they agreed. Rules differ by country and state, so check what applies to you.

Is this template enough?

It’s a starting point in plain language. For paid work, advertising, or anyone under 18, have a lawyer in your area check it.

Should I keep a copy?

Yes. Keep the signed original, and give the person a copy if they ask.

Print it, read it together, sign it before you roll.
