Adding screens, and fixing connections

Step by step

1. Press Add a device

   In the Devices tab. Choose what the screen will show first.

2. Scan the big code

   With the phone or tablet’s camera. It opens in the browser.

3. Finish the link

   If the device shows a code of its own, hold it up to the laptop’s camera so Studio can scan it back.

4. Or open it here

   For a screen on this same computer (a second monitor or projector), choose Open it here instead.

Tips

• Venue, hotel and office Wi-Fi often blocks devices talking to each other. A phone hotspot fixes it.
• If a screen drops, find it in Devices and use its button there to link it again.
• Pasting a code by hand? Capitals don’t matter, and a code damaged by a chat app is caught straight away — just copy it again.
