Eye Contact Reminder

When using a teleprompter, it's easy to get absorbed in the text and forget to look at the camera. This tool fires a gentle reminder at a regular interval — so you build the habit of maintaining eye contact even while reading.

Why eye contact matters

Studies show that audiences rate speakers who maintain eye contact as more trustworthy, confident, and engaging. When using a teleprompter, the natural tendency is to read — this tool breaks that habit by creating regular cues to glance up and connect with your audience. Aim to look at the camera lens at least every 30 seconds.

Teleprompter tip: In SyncedCue, place your camera directly above or below the teleprompter text. The closer they are, the more natural your eye contact will look to viewers.
